Who might be able to join this trial:
For people with Cystic Fibrosis (CF):
- You have been diagnosed with CF, confirmed by a sweat chloride test result above 60 mMol/l
- You have two known CF-causing gene changes, or you have symptoms/organ effects related to CF
- You are at least 5 years old
- You receive your CF care at the CCHMC CF Care Center or another regional CF Care Center in the area
For healthy volunteers:
- You are 5 years of age or older and have no known history of heart or lung disease
Who may not be able to join:
For both CF patients and healthy volunteers:
- You have a metal implant in your body that is not safe for MRI scans, or you experience claustrophobia (fear of enclosed spaces), or you have another reason that would make having an MRI scan unsafe for you (confirm with trial site)
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
