Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with thymoma or thymic carcinoma (types of tumours in the thymus gland), confirmed through a tissue or cell sample.
- People who have had full removal surgery and have a stage III or IVa tumour, or a selected stage II tumour of certain types (B2, B3, or thymic carcinoma), based on local medical assessment.
- People who have had incomplete surgery, or whose tumour could not be operated on, or who have chosen not to have surgery, at any stage from I to IVa and any tumour type.
- People with a general health/activity level rated 0, 1, or 2 on the WHO performance scale (meaning able to carry out at least some daily activities, confirm with trial site).
- People whose lung function test results meet certain minimum levels after surgery (confirm with trial site for specific values).
- People aged 18 or older — there is no upper age limit.
- People who are able and willing to provide written consent to participate.
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose cancer has spread to distant parts of the body (classified as Masaoka-Koga stage IVb).
- People who are pregnant.
- People who have another serious medical condition that would be incompatible with taking part in the study.
- People whose tumour moves more than 0.5 centimetres, as measured on two separate specialised breathing CT scans.
