Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are overweight (BMI of 25 or above) or obese (BMI of 30 or above) and have chronic low back pain
- People who have had general, non-specific low back pain for at least 3 months
- People who are currently seeing someone for their low back pain
- People whose first language is Dutch
- People who have access to the internet and a computer, tablet, or smartphone
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose leg pain rates 7 or higher out of 10 on a pain scale
- People with a known specific spinal condition, such as a herniated disc, spinal narrowing, a slipped vertebra, spinal infection, spinal fracture, or spinal cancer
- People with a serious ongoing health condition, such as diabetes, heart or blood vessel problems, or metabolic diseases
- People with a BMI of 40 or above
- People who are currently pregnant or who have given birth within the past year
- People who are currently taking part in a structured diet or exercise program
