Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have cancer that has spread to the brain (brain metastases), where the original cancer has been confirmed by laboratory testing of tumour tissue
• People who have received Gamma Knife (a type of targeted radiation treatment) within the last 4 months before joining the trial
• People who have a brain lesion that is suspected of either growing again or developing a complication called radionecrosis (tissue damage from radiation), meaning the lesion has grown by 25% or more in size
• People who have a lesion measuring at least 1 cm in the area that shows up when a contrast dye called gadolinium is used during a brain scan

Who may not be able to join:

• People who are pregnant
• People who have a history of a brain tumour that started in the brain (rather than spreading from elsewhere in the body)
• People who are unable to have an MRI scan, or who have a history of allergic reaction to contrast dye used in scans
• People who experience claustrophobia (fear of enclosed spaces, such as an MRI machine)
• People who are not able to give their own informed consent to participate
• People who have epilepsy or have recently had a stroke
• People who are currently participating in another clinical research study
• People who do not have health care insurance
