Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with a type of lung cancer called non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that has spread to no more than 5 other areas of the body at the same time as the main lung tumour.
- Your doctors (a team of specialists) have agreed that the goal is to treat all areas of cancer aggressively, with the aim of getting rid of it entirely.
- You are 18 years of age or older.
- You are in good general health and able to carry out daily activities, and your doctor estimates you have a life expectancy of at least 6 months.
- You have had up-to-date scans (such as PET/CT, CT, MRI, or bone scans) within the last 3 months to find out how far the cancer has spread.
- Your lung cancer diagnosis has been confirmed through a tissue or cell sample (biopsy or similar test).
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a medical reason why you cannot safely have a camera procedure to look inside your airways or digestive tract (EBUS/EUS) (confirm with trial site).
- You are unable to give your own consent for the EBUS/EUS procedure.
- You have a medical reason why you cannot safely receive radiation therapy to your chest.
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
