Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are an adult (18 or older) taking Xeljanz® XR as prescribed for moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis, and a previous treatment called methotrexate did not work well enough for you or you could not tolerate it
- You are an adult (18 or older) taking Xeljanz® XR together with methotrexate for active psoriatic arthritis, and a previous arthritis medication did not work well enough for you or you could not tolerate it
- You are an adult (18 or older) taking Xeljanz® XR for active ankylosing spondylitis (a type of spinal arthritis), and standard treatments have not worked well enough for you
- You are aged 65 or older, have a high risk of heart problems, or have a higher risk of cancer, and your doctor has decided Xeljanz® XR is appropriate after other treatments have not worked or were not tolerated
- You previously took the standard Xeljanz 5mg tablet and have switched to the extended-release version, Xeljanz® XR
- You (or your legal representative) have read, understood, and signed a consent form agreeing to take part in the study
Who may not be able to join:
- You have ever had a serious allergic reaction to any ingredient in this medication
- You currently have a serious infection (such as blood poisoning) or any active infection, even a mild localised one
- You currently have active tuberculosis (TB)
- You have severe liver problems or disease
- Your white blood cell count (a measure of infection-fighting cells called neutrophils) is too low, specifically below 1,000 cells/mm³ (confirm with trial site)
- Your lymphocyte count (another type of immune cell) is too low, specifically below 500 cells/mm³ (confirm with trial site)
- Your haemoglobin level (a measure of red blood cells that carry oxygen) is too low, specifically below 9 g/dL (confirm with trial site)
- You are pregnant or think you might be pregnant
