Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have been officially diagnosed with OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder) by a trained mental health professional.
• Your OCD symptoms score 16 or higher on a standard OCD rating scale (called the Y-BOCS), indicating significant symptoms.
• Your OCD has not improved enough after trying at least one standard medication or therapy treatment.
• You are between 18 and 65 years old.
• You have stopped taking certain antidepressants (SSRIs) for a specific washout period before joining (confirm exact timing with trial site).
• You agree not to start any new therapy or psychiatric medication during the study without checking with the study team first.
• You are willing to avoid all psychiatric medications and recreational drugs throughout the study.
• If you could become pregnant, you have a negative pregnancy test at the start and before each study session, and you agree to use reliable contraception.
• You are willing to allow the researchers to speak with your doctors or therapist to verify your medical and medication history if needed.
• You can provide a contact person (such as a family member or close friend) who can be reached by the research team in an emergency.
• You are committed to attending all medication sessions, therapy sessions, and follow-up appointments for the full study.

Who may not be able to join:

• You or a close family member have a history of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, delusional disorder, paranoid disorder, or schizoaffective disorder.
• You have had a substance abuse problem in the past 12 months.
• You have an unstable neurological or medical condition.
• You currently have thoughts of suicide or have attempted suicide in the past 12 months.
• You have a history of violence, self-harm, or harming others.
• You have any unstable health condition that could make the study procedures unsafe.
• You have a positive pregnancy test at the time of screening.
• You have used any psychedelic drugs in the past 12 months.
• You are not able to understand and sign a consent form agreeing to take part.
• You experience an unexpected or unusual reaction to any part of the study while it is ongoing.
• You decide you would like to stop participating once the study has begun.
• You have a positive pregnancy test at any point before the final psychedelic session.
