Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 18 and 65 years old
- People with a body mass index (BMI) of 40 or above, or a BMI of 35 or above combined with a health condition related to obesity
- People who have previously had a type of weight loss surgery called Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB) but have regained weight or lost less weight than expected after the procedure
- People who have been assessed by a specialist team at one of the participating weight loss surgery centres

Who may not be able to join:
- People whose previous gastric bypass surgery did not work due to physical or surgical complications, such as an enlarged stomach pouch, an abnormal connection between stomach sections, or certain structural issues with the surgery
- People for whom the planned surgical procedure would not be technically possible, based on the surgeon's assessment
- People who have conditions affecting the digestive system, such as inflammatory bowel disease, coeliac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, or other causes of ongoing diarrhoea
- People with a serious ongoing illness, such as cancer or a neurodegenerative condition (a condition affecting the brain or nervous system over time)
- People who are pregnant
- People who are unwilling to attend follow-up appointments or unwilling to undergo surgery
- People who are unable to read, understand, or complete written questionnaires
