Who might be able to join this trial:
For patients:
- Children and young people under 18 years old who have health insurance
- People being treated at Necker hospital for a primary immune deficiency (a condition where the immune system doesn't work properly) combined with autoimmune or inflammatory conditions — such as low blood cell counts, bowel inflammation, Lupus, Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, Familial Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis, or a chronic Epstein-Barr virus infection affecting certain immune cells — where a known genetic cause has been identified
- Children weighing more than 9 kg
- Children whose parents have signed a consent form agreeing to participate
For control participants (relatives of patients or unrelated healthy individuals):
- Children and young people under 18 years old who do not have an immune-related disease or cancer
- Children weighing more than 6 kg
- Children whose parents have signed a consent form agreeing to participate
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have taken antibiotics in the 2 weeks before joining the trial
- People whose parents or the child themselves have not signed a consent form
- People currently receiving chemotherapy or other cancer-related treatments
- People currently taking antiviral medications (such as treatments for HIV or hepatitis)
- People with a condition that is considered immediately life-threatening in the short term
- People who are under court-ordered legal protection (confirm with trial site)
