  • People diagnosed with laryngeal cancer (affecting the voice box, including the glottic, supraglottic, or subglottic areas) or hypopharyngeal cancer (affecting the lower throat, including the pyriform sinus, postcricoid, or posterior pharyngeal wall areas)

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have been diagnosed with an immune system disorder, HIV, or AIDS-related illness
  • People with a known history of active tuberculosis (TB)
  • Women who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
  • People whose treating doctor considers it unsuitable for them to take part — for example, those with serious ongoing medical conditions such as immune colitis, inflammatory bowel disease, non-infectious pneumonia, or pulmonary fibrosis, or those with mental health conditions including active or recent (within the past year) suicidal thoughts or behaviour
