Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 years or older
- People who are covered by French public health insurance
- People admitted to an emergency department with a headache that appears to be a migraine, based on recognised international diagnostic criteria
- People who have given written agreement to participate
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have COPD or any other long-term breathing or respiratory condition
- Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or who could become pregnant and are not using contraception (a pregnancy test will be carried out for women of childbearing age, and results will be shared with a doctor of their choice)
- People who are under a legal protection order (confirm with trial site)
- People who have taken triptan medication within the past 2 weeks
- People who have taken anti-inflammatory pain relief (NSAIDs) within the hour before being examined by the doctor
- People whose migraine attack has been severely disabling and ongoing for more than 72 hours
