Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old (male or female)
  • You have been diagnosed with OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder)
  • You have tried at least two different medications for OCD, each for at least 6 weeks, without enough improvement
  • You are covered by a social security or health insurance system
  • You are willing and able to sign a consent form agreeing to take part

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have been diagnosed with another psychiatric condition, other than an anxiety disorder
  • You have a serious active physical health condition
  • You have a neurological illness (a condition affecting the brain or nervous system)
  • You are pregnant or have another neurological illness
  • You have a history of seizures (epileptic fits)
  • You have a pacemaker, metal implants that can move, an implanted medical pump, or metal clips inside your skull (due to safety requirements for the treatment used in this trial)
  • You are not able to keep your medication stable — your medication must have been unchanged for at least 3 weeks before the trial starts, and must stay the same throughout
  • You are a woman who is pregnant, breastfeeding, or sexually active and not using a reliable form of contraception
  • You are under legal guardianship or the care of a curator
  • You have been admitted to hospital against your will
  • You are unable to give your own informed consent to participate
