Who might be able to join this trial:

For the Concussion group:

  • You have been diagnosed with Post-Concussion Syndrome by a doctor
  • You have had concussion symptoms for at least 3 months and doctors have not found another reason for your symptoms
  • Your family speaks English or Spanish

For the COVID group:

  • The child is between 11 and 18 years old
  • The child has been seen at CHOC Neurology clinic and has had symptoms after COVID-19 for more than 3 months, with no other explanation found for those symptoms
  • Your family speaks English or Spanish

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have a seizure disorder
  • You have a significant developmental delay
  • You have an infection or serious skin condition in or around the ear
  • You have a bleeding disorder
  • You have any implanted electrical device (such as a pacemaker) inside your body
  • You are not able to attend Friday appointments for the treatment sessions (COVID group)
