Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 or older at the time of their transplant
- People receiving a kidney transplant, or a combined kidney and pancreas transplant
- People who have tested negative for the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) — a common virus — within the 6 months before transplant up to the day of transplant
- People whose organ donor has tested positive for the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)
- People who have signed a written consent form agreeing to take part
- People with a negative pregnancy test who are using contraception throughout the study

Who may not be able to join:
- People with a known active Hepatitis B (HBV) infection
- People with a known allergy to the drug Rituximab

- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Women who could become pregnant and are not using a reliable form of birth control
- People who are under judicial protection or legal guardianship
- People currently taking part in another clinical trial that involves testing a drug or treatment
- People with substance abuse issues, psychiatric disorders, or other conditions that the trial doctor considers incompatible with taking part in the study
- People considered unlikely to attend the scheduled visits required by the trial
