Who might be able to join this trial:
- You live and/or receive medical care in Switzerland
- You were diagnosed with one of the listed brain or nervous system conditions on or after 2005, and your symptoms first began before you turned 18
- You (and/or your legal guardian, if applicable) are willing and able to provide written consent to participate
- Your diagnosis is one of the following conditions: Optic Neuritis, Transverse Myelitis, Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis, Multiple Sclerosis, Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorders, MOG Antibody-Associated Disease, Anti-NMDA-R Encephalitis, or one of several other types of autoimmune encephalitis (brain inflammation caused by the immune system), Hashimoto Encephalopathy, CNS Vasculitis, CNS Sarcoidosis, CNS Lupus, or Rasmussen Encephalitis (confirm with trial site if unsure whether your diagnosis is included)
Who may not be able to join:
- Your neurological symptoms are caused by an infection in the brain or nervous system
- Your condition affecting the brain's protective nerve coverings (myelin) is caused by a genetic or metabolic condition
- Your neurological symptoms are caused by Guillain-Barré Syndrome (a condition where the immune system attacks the nerves outside the brain and spinal cord)
