Who might be able to join this trial:
- Women between 18 and 45 years of age who have been diagnosed with endometriosis through a keyhole surgery procedure performed by their own doctor within the last 10 years
- People who are currently using Tylenol (paracetamol) for sudden or acute pain may still be eligible
- People who use an IUD (either copper or hormonal/levonorgestrel type) as contraception may still be eligible
Who may not be able to join:
- People who use any nicotine-containing products, such as cigarettes, chewing tobacco, or similar
- People who have diabetes, specifically with a blood sugar control marker (HbA1c) above 6.5%
- People with high blood pressure above 140/90
- People who take medications that could affect blood vessel control, such as insulin-sensitising drugs or heart and blood pressure medications
- People who are currently pregnant
- People who are currently breastfeeding
- People who use illicit or recreational drugs
- People with abnormal liver function
- People who have a rash, skin condition, skin pigmentation disorder, or known skin allergies
- People who have been diagnosed with, or are suspected to have, a metabolic or cardiovascular (heart or blood vessel) disease
- People with persistently unexplained high levels of certain liver enzymes in their blood (confirm with trial site)
- People with a known allergy to latex or any of the substances used in the study
