Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have been diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis (MG) and have a specific type of antibody in your blood called anti-AChR antibody
• Your MG symptoms fall into a moderate-to-severe category based on a standard medical classification system (Class II, III, or IV — confirm with trial site)
• Your MG symptoms significantly affect your daily activities, as measured by specific scoring tools, and most of those problems are not just related to your eyes
• Your muscle weakness scores meet a minimum level on a standard medical test (confirm with trial site)
• You are already taking at least one of the following treatments: a medication called a cholinesterase inhibitor, steroid tablets, or certain immune-suppressing medications (such as azathioprine, mycophenolate mofetil, tacrolimus, or cyclosporine A), and your dose has been stable for a required period of time

Who may not be able to join:

• You have had a significant active infection (such as blood poisoning, pneumonia, or an abscess) or a serious infection requiring hospital care or antibiotics in the last 4 weeks
• You have a history of high-risk or active tuberculosis, or chronic hepatitis
• You are living with HIV
• You have or had a thymus tumour (thymoma) and have had it surgically removed, are planning surgery within 6 months, or need chemotherapy or radiotherapy at any time
• You have a thymoma that has not been surgically removed
• You received a medication called rituximab in the last 6 months
• You received medications called tocilizumab or eculizumab in the last 3 months
• You received intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) or plasma exchange treatment in the last 4 weeks
• You have a history of any other type of cancer or tumour
