Who might be able to join this trial:
- People diagnosed with high-risk acute B cell lymphoblastic leukemia (a type of blood cancer) who have been recommended for a stem cell transplant from a donor
- People who have a suitable donor available — this could be a matched brother or sister, an unrelated donor who is at least 8 out of 10 markers matched, or a half-matched family member
- People aged between 12 and 65 years old
- People whose liver is working well enough, based on blood test results within accepted ranges
- People whose kidneys are working well enough, based on blood test results within accepted ranges
- People who do not have any active infections that are not under control, do not have serious organ problems, and do not have severe mental illness
- People who are well enough to carry out basic daily activities (based on a standard health scoring system, confirm with trial site)
- People who have read and signed a consent form agreeing to take part
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are pregnant
- People with a mental illness or any other condition that would make it difficult to follow the trial's requirements
- People whose leukemia has a specific genetic marker known as "Philadelphia chromosome positive" (Ph+)
