Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have been diagnosed with Behçet's disease (a rare inflammatory condition) that meets specific international diagnostic criteria from 2013, and you have recently had a flare-up of severe eye inflammation affecting the back or all layers of the eye.
• You are currently taking at least 10mg per day of prednisone (a steroid) or a similar medication at an equivalent dose.

Who may not be able to join:

• You have been treated with a type of medication called a TNF-alpha inhibitor (a specific kind of immune-suppressing drug) within the last 3 months.
• You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
• You have or have had cancer.
• You have heart failure.
• You have a condition affecting the protective covering of your nerves (such as multiple sclerosis) (confirm with trial site).
• You have kidney problems, shown by a specific blood test result being above a certain level.
• You have depression or another mental health condition.
• You have a history of inflammatory joint disease or other autoimmune conditions.
• You have severe Behçet's disease symptoms in other parts of your body beyond mouth/genital sores or skin involvement.
• You have received an organ or bone marrow transplant, or have severe heart failure at a specific medical grade.
• You have active liver disease shown by abnormal liver blood test results.
• Your white blood cell count is below a certain level on a blood test.
• Your platelet count (cells that help blood clot) is below a certain level.
• Your haemoglobin level (a measure of red blood cells) is below a certain level.
• A specific test for tuberculosis (TB) shows a result above a certain threshold.
