Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 18 and 75 years old
- You are generally able to carry out daily activities, even if you have some limitations due to your condition (confirm with trial site)
- A chest CT scan has shown you have at least two nodules (spots) in your lungs
- At least one of those lung nodules has been confirmed by a tissue test (biopsy) to be an early-stage lung cancer that has not spread far
- At least one other remaining lung nodule has been confirmed or assessed by a team of specialists to also be a primary (original) lung cancer
- The remaining lung nodule(s) cannot be removed by surgery, or surgery is possible but you have chosen not to have it
- You are able to understand and sign a consent form on your own
- You are able to swallow tablets
Who may not be able to join:
- Your lung nodules have spread (metastasised) from cancer elsewhere in the body
- You have previously had radiotherapy to your chest
- Your cancer has spread to the lymph nodes or other parts of the body
- Your tumor is located very close to the major airways in the center of your lungs, within a specific area (confirm with trial site for exact details)
- You have had a full lung removed in the past
- You have serious existing conditions affecting your heart, liver, kidneys, or blood system
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have an active HIV infection
- You currently have an active infection, pneumonia, tuberculosis, or inflammation around the heart
- You have a history of misusing psychiatric drugs or other substances
- You have diabetes that requires insulin treatment
- You have a thyroid condition
