Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years of age or older and have been diagnosed with trichotillomania (a condition involving compulsive hair pulling), with the main pulling focused on areas above the neck, such as the scalp, eyebrows, eyelashes, or beard
- You speak and understand English fluently
- You are either not currently taking any medication for hair pulling, or you have been on a stable dose of medication for at least 6 weeks and plan to keep that same dose throughout the 12-week study
- You are not currently receiving any therapy or psychological treatment aimed at reducing hair pulling
- You have reliable and consistent access to the internet or a mobile device that allows you to participate in a video call for up to 90 minutes
- You own an iPhone or other Apple mobile device running iOS 6 or newer
- You are able to identify a trusted person who can be contacted in case of an emergency
- You currently live in the United States
- You have NOT previously used the HabitAware Keen or Keen2 bracelet in the last 24 months
Who may not be able to join:
- You are currently having thoughts of harming yourself or others
- You have another mental health condition that may make it difficult to fully use the app, such as a psychotic disorder, an eating disorder, or moderate to severe depression (confirm with trial site)
- You have used the HabitAware Keen or Keen2 bracelet at any point in the past 24 months
- You currently live outside of the United States
