Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) based on recognised medical guidelines
- You are currently receiving care at the outpatient clinic at Lev HaSharon Netanya Adult Clinic
- You are between 20 and 60 years old
- You received your PTSD diagnosis at least one month before joining the study
- You are not currently being re-exposed to the traumatic event that caused your PTSD
- If you take any psychiatric medications, you have been on a stable, unchanged dose for at least one month before the study begins
Who may not be able to join:
- You have another major mental health condition, such as psychosis, depression, bipolar disorder, or borderline personality disorder, or you are currently having thoughts of suicide
- You have been diagnosed with ADHD
- You have a significant ongoing physical illness that limits your daily activities, such as an autoimmune disease, AIDS, or kidney failure
- You have a heart or cardiovascular condition, such as high blood pressure, irregular heart rhythm, or a slow heart rate
- You have a serious, life-threatening illness such as a recent heart attack, breathing failure, or cancer
- You have a neurological condition affecting your nervous system, such as multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, or a history of stroke
- You have had a severe brain injury in the past or currently
- You have glaucoma (a condition affecting eye pressure)
- You have significant hearing loss or impairment
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- You are currently dependent on substances, including regular use of medical cannabis
- You have used steroid medications within the two months before the study starts
- You are taking medications that may affect how your brain and nervous system work (confirm with trial site)
- You are unable or unwilling to complete all parts of the research process
