  • You are able to read and understand Danish
  • You are willing and able to sign a consent form agreeing to take part

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have been diagnosed with a more advanced melanoma (stage IIB, IIC, III, or IV)

  • You have had melanoma before the current diagnosis
  • You have had any other type of cancer in the past, not counting certain common skin cancers (non-melanoma skin cancers)
  • You have a physical condition, mental health condition, dementia, or cognitive difficulty that would make it impossible for you to check your own skin regularly
  • For people with stage IB or IIA melanoma: if a specific lymph node procedure during surgery did not successfully find the sentinel node (confirm with trial site)
