Who might be able to join this trial:
For patients with MS:
- You are between 12 and 18 years old
- You have been diagnosed with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (a form of MS where symptoms come and go) based on recognised medical guidelines
- You have not had an MS relapse (a flare-up of symptoms) in the last 4 weeks
- You have not taken steroid medications (methylprednisolone or prednisolone) in the last 4 weeks
- You are covered by the French social security system
- Both parents or legal guardians have agreed and signed the consent form
For healthy volunteers:
- You are between 12 and 18 years old
- You do not have any neurological (brain or nerve) conditions
- Both parents or legal guardians have agreed and signed the consent form
Who may not be able to join:
- Either parent or legal guardian does not agree to participation
- You have a reason you cannot safely have a brain MRI scan, such as having a pacemaker, a tattoo on your face, or a fear of enclosed spaces (confirm with trial site for full list)
- You are pregnant or have a copper coil (a type of contraceptive device) fitted
