- People with kidney failure who needed a blood-cleaning treatment (a machine that filters the blood outside the body) and received all of their treatments using the specific devices being studied, between January 2019 and December 2019 — records must be available in the order the treatments were given.
- For patients who received acute (short-term) blood-cleaning treatment: records must show at least 3 out of 5 key measurements (daily urea, creatinine, potassium, fluid removed, and total fluid processed) for at least half of the documented treatment sessions.
- For patients who received ongoing (long-term) blood-cleaning treatment: records must show the amount of fluid removed for every treatment session, plus at least one urea and one creatinine measurement per week.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who were using a different filter or adsorber device at the same time for a separate type of therapy.
