Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been found to have a parotid gland tumour (a growth near the jaw/ear area) through an imaging scan such as an ultrasound or CT scan, with or without a prior needle biopsy result, and who are attending an ear, nose and throat specialist clinic.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who cannot safely have an MRI scan, for example because they have certain metal implants in their body that are not safe for use in MRI machines.
- People who cannot receive MRI contrast dye, for example because of serious kidney problems or a history of a severe allergic reaction to contrast agents.
- People who are unable to stay still or cooperate during an MRI scan.
- People who are unable to give their own informed consent to participate in the trial.
