Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with an invasive cancer that has been confirmed by a tissue sample (biopsy), or you are strongly suspected of having certain cancers (ovarian, pancreatic, kidney, or melanoma) with a confirmed diagnosis expected within 28 days
- Your cancer is one of the following types: colorectal, bladder, head and neck, hepatobiliary, lung, lymphoma, leukemia, ovarian, pancreatic, multiple myeloma, gastric/esophageal, breast, thyroid, kidney, endometrial, prostate, melanoma, or sarcoma
- Your cancer is at a stage appropriate to the type (Stage I–IV for most cancers, or the equivalent staging system for leukemia, lymphoma, or multiple myeloma)
- You have not yet received any cancer treatment (such as chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery to remove the cancer)
- You are between 40 and 75 years old
- You are willing to provide blood samples for research purposes
- You are healthy enough to have approximately 60 mL (about 4 tablespoons) of blood drawn for research
- You are able to read and understand English or Spanish, as study questionnaires are only available in those two languages
- Healthy participants (with no cancer diagnosis or suspicion of cancer) who also meet the age, language, and blood draw requirements listed above may also be eligible
Who may not be able to join:
- You are currently pregnant (based on your own report)
- You have a history of any other cancer (in situ or invasive), other than certain non-melanoma skin cancers that stayed in place (in situ)
- You have previously had an organ transplant
- You cannot read or understand English or Spanish
- You are under 40 or over 75 years of age
- You have a medical condition that makes it unsafe to have 60 mL of blood drawn for research purposes
- You have already received treatment for your current cancer diagnosis
