Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been previously diagnosed with a solid organ cancer (a cancer forming a tumour in an organ, not a blood cancer) within the last 10 years, received treatment intended to cure or fully remove that cancer, and now have a new spot (nodule) detected on a chest CT scan
- People whose previous cancer was confirmed either by a biopsy, or by a specialist medical team's agreement that it was cancer, and where the cancer was shown to have gone away or gone into remission after treatment
- People whose previous cancer was treated with the intention to cure it — through surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, a combination of these, or similar aggressive treatments
- People where it is already known what the new lung nodule is — either confirmed as harmless (benign) and stable or gone away over 2 years of scans, or confirmed as a new or returning cancer through scans, specialist team review, or biopsy
- People whose chest CT scan images have a slice thickness (level of detail) of 2.5mm or less
- People whose lung nodule measures 5mm or larger in size
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose CT scan images are more than 10 years old
- People whose cancer is a blood cancer (such as leukaemia) rather than a solid tumour
- People whose original cancer came back in only a small number of spots (called oligometastatic recurrence) and those spots were also treated with curative-intent treatment

Development of a CT-thorax based radiomics ML classifier model to predict cancer risk in new lung nodules after previous radically treated cancer.; Development of the CT-thorax based ML classifier model to predict whether a new malignant nodule represents metastatic lung disease (new cancer vs previous cancer recurrence) or a new primary lung malignancy.
