Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who are able to understand and are willing to sign a consent form agreeing to participate in the study.
• People who have been diagnosed with a cancer — whether localised, spread to nearby areas, or spread to other parts of the body — for whom radiation therapy has been recommended.
• People whose radiation therapy treatment is planned to be delivered using a specific machine (the RMRS X1) and specific techniques (IMRT, SBRT, or BgRT).
• People who do not have other health conditions that would make radiation therapy unsafe, as determined by the treating radiation oncologist.
• People of childbearing potential who are willing to use appropriate contraception to avoid pregnancy during treatment, with the method confirmed and discussed with their treating doctor.
• For people receiving BgRT only: People whom the treatment team has determined are suitable for BgRT using a radioactive tracer called FDG, based on a planning session.

Who may not be able to join:

• People who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant during the study.
• People who have a known psychiatric condition or substance use disorder that could affect their ability to participate in the study or attend follow-up visits.
• People who are unable to lie still and flat on their back for the planning and treatment sessions.
• For people receiving BgRT only: People who have a known allergy to the radioactive tracer FDG.
