Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are at least 18 years old and, as a boy before puberty, had testicular tissue removed and frozen as part of a fertility preservation program at the time of a cancer or blood disorder diagnosis
- People who have a female partner who is under 43 years of age (if applicable)
- People where two separate semen tests have shown no sperm suitable for use in fertility treatment
- People whose routine pre-surgery blood test results have come back within normal ranges
- People whose cancer or blood disorder is in complete remission
- People whose treating specialist (such as an oncologist) has approved them to move forward with this procedure
- People where a specialist medical team has assessed the risk of any cancer cells being present in the frozen testicular tissue as negligible
- People where testing of the thawed tissue has confirmed the presence of a specific type of stem cell (called spermatogonial stem cells, confirmed by a MAGE staining test) in one or both of the thawed tissue samples (if these cells are absent in both samples, the case will be reviewed by a specialist team — confirm with trial site)
- People who have given written consent for the tissue transplant procedure, follow-up care, and any monitoring of children who may be born as a result
Who may not be able to join:
- People where there is a risk that the frozen testicular tissue may contain cancer cells
- People who have a medical reason that makes surgery unsafe for them
- People whose female partner has a medical reason that makes pregnancy unsafe for her
- People with a BMI over 32
- People who smoke 10 or more cigarettes per day
- People who are currently experiencing an unstable psychological condition

Restoration of spermatogenesis and fertility by performing an autologous testicular tissue transplantation. Primary endpoint is the presence of spermatozoa in the graft.
