Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer, confirmed through a tissue sample (biopsy)
- A brain scan (MRI with contrast dye) has found up to 20 spots of cancer in your brain
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You are reasonably active and able to care for yourself to a certain degree, as measured by your doctor using standard health scoring tools (confirm with trial site)
- If you are a woman who could become pregnant, you must have a negative pregnancy blood test at the time of joining the trial
- You, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, are able to give written agreement to participate in the trial
Who may not be able to join:
- You are unable to have an MRI brain scan using contrast dye (for example, due to an allergy or kidney problems)
- Cancer has spread to the fluid or lining surrounding your brain or spinal cord, confirmed by a spinal fluid test or scan
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have previously received radiation treatment directed at your brain
- You have a serious, uncontrolled illness in another part of your body that, with no good remaining treatment options, is likely to be life-threatening, based on scans taken within the last 3 months
