Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 18 and 65 years old
- You speak English fluently

- You have a neurological condition, have had a stroke, seizures, or a head injury that caused you to lose consciousness
- You have a major untreated physical illness, such as cancer or a thyroid condition
- You currently have or have had a problem with alcohol or drug use (as determined by a clinical assessment or the trial doctor)
- You currently have or have previously had bipolar disorder, psychosis, schizophrenia, or a chronic pain condition
- You are currently at risk of harming yourself
- You have a history of a pervasive developmental disorder (such as autism spectrum disorder) (confirm with trial site)
- You have used substances in a way that meets the criteria for a substance use disorder in the past three months
- You have regularly used opioid painkillers in the last three months
- You are currently receiving a trauma-focused therapy as your main treatment
- You have a history of claustrophobia (fear of enclosed spaces)
- You have previously taken part in biofeedback, neurofeedback, or any type of brain stimulation therapy
- You have any condition that might affect your ability to consent to or follow the study plan
