Who might be able to join this trial:

• Pregnant women who are receiving prenatal care at the BMC Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Department
• Women who started prenatal care before 28 weeks of pregnancy
• Women who have symptoms of PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder), either meeting the full diagnosis or having enough symptoms to be close to a diagnosis, as measured by a specific clinical interview tool

Who may not be able to join:

• People whose doctor feels they need a higher level of care, such as a detox program, inpatient hospital stay, or residential treatment, rather than outpatient care
• People who have been diagnosed with psychosis or unstable bipolar disorder, as confirmed through a clinical interview
• People who are already receiving a specific type of PTSD therapy (called exposure-based treatment, such as Written Exposure Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, or Cognitive Processing Therapy) through another provider
• People who are currently incarcerated — those individuals are only able to receive obstetric (pregnancy-related) care at BMC and are not permitted to receive mental health services outside of their correctional facility
