Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have been diagnosed with a type of lung cancer called lung adenocarcinoma, with a specific gene change called an EGFR sensitive mutation, confirmed by a needle biopsy
• Your cancer is at stage III or stage IVA (based on a standard cancer staging system)
• Your cancer has not spread to other parts of the body (confirmed by brain, bone, and other scans)
• Your doctors believe surgery to remove part of the lung may be possible now or in the future
• Your lungs are healthy enough to handle surgery
• You are 18 years of age or older
• You have at least one tumor that can be measured on a CT scan, with the longest side being more than 10 mm
• Your liver, kidneys, blood, and other major organs are working well
• You are generally active and able to care for yourself (a standard health score of 0 or 1 on a medical scale)
• If you are a woman who could become pregnant, you must have a negative pregnancy test within 7 days of starting treatment and use reliable contraception during the trial and for 30 days after it ends
• If you are a man who could father a child, you must use a condom during the trial and for 30 days after it ends
• You are willing and able to sign a consent form agreeing to take part

Who may not be able to join:

• You have already had any cancer treatment for lung cancer, such as chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or any experimental treatment
• You have an unstable or serious ongoing health condition, such as an uncontrolled infection, uncontrolled high blood pressure, heart problems (including recent heart attack within the last 6 months, heart failure, or serious irregular heartbeat), or liver, kidney, or metabolic disease requiring medication
• You are HIV positive
• You currently have a lung condition called interstitial lung disease (confirm with trial site)
• You have had a major operation or serious physical injury in the 3 months before joining the trial
• You are allergic to the study drug furmonertinib or any of its ingredients
• You are allergic to the study drug bevacizumab or any of its ingredients
• You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
• The trial doctor has any other reason to believe the trial would not be appropriate for you
