Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have been diagnosed with a specific type of NMOSD (Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder) confirmed by a positive AQP4-IgG blood test.
• You have had at least 2 relapses (flare-ups) in the past 2 years, with at least 1 of those happening in the last 12 months.
• You are 18 years old or older.
• Your level of disability falls within a certain range as measured by a standard disability scale used for this condition (confirm with trial site).
• You are willing and able to sign a written consent form to take part in the study.
• If you are currently taking oral steroid tablets, you are taking a low dose and are able to stop within one month of joining.
• If you are a woman who could become pregnant, you agree to use effective birth control during the treatment and for at least 3 months after stopping the study medication.

Who may not be able to join:

• Your condition is getting worse in a way that is not related to relapses, or there are concerns about a rare and serious brain infection (confirm with trial site).
• You are currently pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to have a baby during the study period.
• You are already taking part in another clinical trial, or have done so within the last 30 days.
• You have had your spleen removed, were born without a spleen, or are planning to have major surgery during the study period.
• You have another serious illness that is not well controlled, or you take long-term steroids or immune-suppressing medicines for another condition, or you have a chronic condition that means you cannot safely take immune-suppressing treatment.
• You have had an active infection in the 4 weeks before the study starts.
• You have tested positive for Hepatitis B or Hepatitis C.
• There is evidence that you have tuberculosis (TB), either active or dormant.
• You have received a live vaccine within 6 weeks before the study starts.
• You have had a cancer diagnosis in the past 5 years, including tumours, blood cancers, or early-stage cancers.
• You have had a severe allergic reaction to a biological medicine in the past.
• You are unable to sign a written consent form.
