Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are a Veteran aged 50 or older who lives independently in the community
- You have received care at a Veterans Health Administration (VHA) facility within the past year
- You have been diagnosed with PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder)
- You have been diagnosed with insomnia (a sleep disorder)
- You live within 50 miles of the VA Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center
Who may not be able to join:
- You are currently using substances (such as alcohol or drugs) or have been sober for less than 90 days
- You are too unwell to take part in study activities, such as attending in-person meetings
- You are not able to give your own consent to join the study
- You do not have stable housing (confirm with trial site)
- You have a serious heart or breathing condition, such as heart failure or breathing failure
- You have medical or mental health conditions that are not currently stable or well-managed
- You have certain other sleep disorders, such as central sleep apnea, narcolepsy, or circadian rhythm disorders, or you have untreated severe sleep-disordered breathing based on sleep testing or previous medical evaluation (confirm with trial site)
