  • People with conditions that cause significant problems absorbing nutrients from food.
  • People with a form of celiac disease that does not respond to a gluten-free diet (refractory celiac disease).
  • People who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • People who are not able to understand what the consent form is asking them to agree to.
  • People who have not given consent, or who have withdrawn their consent to take part.
