Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have been diagnosed with carcinosarcoma (a specific type of cancer) of a gynecologic organ, confirmed by a tissue sample test
• You have already received at least one round of chemotherapy for your cancer
• Your cancer can be measured or tracked using standard imaging scans
• Any side effects from previous treatments have mostly gone away or are mild and stable
• You are well enough to carry out basic daily activities (ranging from fully active to capable of limited self-care)
• You are 18 years of age or older
• Your blood test results, taken within 14 days before starting treatment, show that your blood cells, liver, kidneys, and other organs are working well enough (confirm with trial site for specific numbers)
• You are able to understand the study requirements and have signed a consent form agreeing to take part
• If you could become pregnant, you and your partner must agree to use effective birth control during the study and for 5 months after the last dose
• You must not be breastfeeding while receiving treatment in the trial
• You must not be pregnant at the time of screening

Who may not be able to join:

• You have previously been treated with a drug called cabozantinib
• You have taken certain targeted cancer drugs (small molecule kinase inhibitors) within the past 2 weeks or longer, depending on the drug (confirm with trial site)
• You have received any other cancer treatment, including chemotherapy or immunotherapy, within the past 4 weeks
• You have had radiation therapy recently — within 2 weeks for bone treatment, or 4 weeks for other areas — or are still experiencing significant problems from past radiation
• You have cancer that has spread to the brain or the area around the brain, unless it was treated and has been stable for at least 4 weeks, and you are not taking steroid medications for it
• You are currently taking certain blood-thinning medications such as warfarin, dabigatran, clopidogrel, or betrixaban (some other blood thinners may be allowed — confirm with trial site)
• Your blood clotting test results are above a certain level within 7 days before starting treatment (confirm with trial site)
• You have serious uncontrolled health conditions, including severe heart failure, uncontrolled high blood pressure, a recent stroke or heart attack within 6 months, or serious stomach and bowel problems such as perforation, fistula, or bowel blockage within 6 months
• You have had significant bleeding — such as coughing or vomiting more than a small amount of blood — within the past 12 weeks
• You have certain lung abnormalities or tumors pressing on or growing into major blood vessels
• You have serious wounds, fractures, or untreated thyroid problems, or significant liver disease
• You have had major surgery within 2 weeks, or minor surgery within 10 days, before starting treatment, or have not fully healed from a recent surgery
• A recent heart tracing (ECG) shows an abnormal heart rhythm measurement above a certain level (confirm with trial site)
• You are unable to swallow tablets
• You have a known allergy to any ingredient in the study treatment
• You have been diagnosed with another cancer within the past 2 years, except for certain minor skin cancers or low-grade tumors that were treated without systemic therapy
• You are currently receiving chemotherapy or radiation therapy at the same time as this trial
• You have a serious ongoing heart, liver, or other illness that the study doctor considers too high a risk
• You have personal or psychological reasons that would make it difficult to follow the study requirements
• You currently have an active infection, including a urinary tract infection, HIV, or hepatitis (you may be able to re-screen after treatment of an acute infection — confirm with trial site)
• You have received a live vaccine within the past 30 days
• You have a history of certain lung diseases such as pulmonary fibrosis or drug-related lung inflammation, or signs of active lung inflammation on a recent chest scan

• You currently require kidney dialysis
