Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are a man or woman aged 18 to 70 years old and are generally in good health
  • You have inflammation inside one or both eyes (a condition called uveitis) that affects the back part of the eye and is not caused by an infection
  • You have signs of active eye inflammation before receiving the Yutiq treatment, shown by at least one of the following: significant cell activity or cloudiness in the eye, leakage seen on a special eye imaging test, swelling at the centre of your vision seen on a scan, or three or more flare-ups of your condition in the past year
  • You are willing to stop taking steroids and immune-suppressing medications within 3 months after receiving the Yutiq injection

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have cloudiness in the cornea or lens that blocks a clear view of the back of your eye, or you are likely to need cataract surgery during the trial
  • You have a history of neurological symptoms that suggest a nerve-related condition affecting the brain or spinal cord
  • You have received certain long-acting eye implants or injections (Retisert®, ILUVIEN®, or YUTIQ®) in the last 36 months
  • You have received a specific steroid eye injection called OZURDEX®, Triesence®, or TRIVARIS™ in the last 12 weeks
  • You have had a steroid injection around or near your eye in the last 12 weeks
  • You have cloudiness inside your eye (for example, bleeding in the eye) that prevents a clear view of the retina
  • You have a known allergy to any ingredient in YUTIQ®
  • You have any other eye or general health condition that the trial doctor believes would make it unsafe or unsuitable for you to take part (confirm with trial site)
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding, or you are a woman who could become pregnant and are unwilling or unable to use an approved method of contraception from at least 14 days before the trial starts until the final visit
