Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have had a surgical procedure to remove part of a lung (such as a lobe, two lobes, or a smaller segment) due to non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), where the tumour was smaller than 3 cm
- People whose surgery included collecting lymph node samples from specific locations inside the lung (stations 12, 13, and 14)
- People whose surgery included removal of lymph nodes from specific areas near where the lung meets the airway (stations 10 and 11) during the procedure
- People whose surgery achieved a complete removal of the cancer with no cancer cells detected at the edges of the removed tissue (known as an R0 resection)
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have had a previous lung cancer diagnosis, or who have been found to have a second lung cancer at the same time as their current one
- People whose cancer has been found to have spread to certain lymph nodes in the chest (a finding doctors call pN2)
- People who required removal of an entire lung during surgery
- People whose surgery did not fully remove the cancer, meaning cancer cells were still found at or near the surgical margins
- People whose cancer has been found to have spread to other parts of the body beyond the lung (known as M1 or distant metastasis)
- People who received treatment such as chemotherapy or radiation before their surgery (known as neoadjuvant treatment)
