AI generated eligibility summary. Written by an AI model from the official source data and checked on a sample basis. It can contain mistakes, so confirm anything important against the original source. How we use AI

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who have been diagnosed with, or are suspected to have, a type of adult brain tumour called an adult-type diffuse glioma (including glioblastoma, astrocytoma, or oligodendroglioma, as classified by World Health Organization guidelines)
  • People who are willing to provide tumour tissue samples — either already stored from a previous biopsy or surgery, or newly collected
  • People aged 20 years or older
  • People with a life expectancy of more than 3 months
  • People who fully understand the study plan and are willing to attend regular follow-up appointments
  • For Arm 1 only: People who are within 2 months of having surgery to remove their primary tumour
  • For Arm 2 only: People who have had their primary tumour fully removed and have tumour tissue samples available for testing
  • For Arm 3 only: People who have had their primary tumour fully removed, have paired tissue samples from both the original and a returned tumour available for testing, and whose tumour test results suggest a specific genetic pattern called "IDH wild-type" (confirm with trial site)

Who may not be able to join:

  • People whose brain tumour has been diagnosed as, or is suspected to be, a type other than an adult-type diffuse glioma — for example, pediatric-type diffuse gliomas or circumscribed astrocytic gliomas
  • People who are unable to provide a complete medical history
  • People who do not agree to provide stored tumour tissue samples
  • People who are unlikely to follow the study requirements as needed (confirm with trial site)
  • People who have another cancer that is currently progressing or has needed active treatment within the last 3 years — however, people who have had certain skin cancers (basal cell or squamous cell carcinoma of the skin) or early-stage localised cancers (such as cervical carcinoma in situ) that were treated with the aim of curing them are not excluded on this basis
