Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old
  • You have not used any systemic (whole-body) treatments for psoriasis for at least 3 months before joining the study
  • Your blood tests show negative results for certain antibodies related to coeliac disease (confirm with trial site)
  • Your tests show no signs of wheat allergy, based on a skin prick test and/or blood test for wheat, gluten, and gliadin

Who may not be able to join:

  • You are under 18 or over 65 years old
  • You have severe chronic plaque-type psoriasis, based on how much of your body is affected
  • You have already removed gluten or wheat from your diet and are not willing to reintroduce it temporarily for testing purposes before the study begins
  • You are pregnant
  • You have issues with alcohol or drug misuse
  • You have a current Helicobacter pylori infection or certain other bacterial or parasitic infections
  • You have been diagnosed with chronic inflammatory bowel disease, serious liver disease, nervous system diseases, major psychiatric disorders, or immune system problems
  • You have a condition that limits your ability to be physically active
  • You have been diagnosed with cancer
  • You are currently taking steroids or immune-modifying medications
  • You are currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy
