Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been diagnosed with either atypical endometrial hyperplasia (abnormal cells in the lining of the uterus) or early-stage, slow-growing uterine cancer (Grade 1), confirmed by a procedure called a hysteroscopy, with no sign that the cancer has grown into the muscle wall of the uterus
• People whose scans (MRI, CT, or ultrasound) show no signs that the condition has spread outside the uterus
• People who wish to keep their uterus or preserve their ability to have children
• People who are willing and able to follow the treatment plan and attend regular follow-up appointments

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have liver disease, a liver tumour (whether cancerous or not), or reduced kidney function
• People who are pregnant or who may be pregnant
• People who have been diagnosed with any cancer affecting the reproductive system
• People who have had a serious condition such as a stroke or heart attack, or who have a history of blood clots
• People who are allergic to, or cannot safely take, the medications MPA or MA (types of hormone therapy)
• People who have other medical reasons affecting their reproductive function (confirm with trial site)
• People who prefer to have their uterus surgically removed or who want a different type of treatment
