Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are over 18 years old
- You have been diagnosed with glioblastoma (a type of brain tumour), Grade IV, confirmed by a tissue sample (biopsy or surgery)
- You are reasonably active and able to care for yourself, with a performance level rated 0, 1, or 2 (a standard scale doctors use to measure how well you function day-to-day)
- Your neurological (brain and nerve) function meets a minimum level of at least 2 on the scale used in this trial (confirm with trial site)
- You have previously received radiation treatment in or near the area of the brain being considered for re-treatment (within about 5–7 cm)
- Scans have confirmed that your tumour has come back, based on specific medical guidelines (confirm with trial site)
- There is still some tumour remaining after you had partial surgery following the recurrence
- You have between 1 and 3 areas where the tumour has returned, each smaller than 35 mm across, and at least 5 mm apart from each other
- Each returning tumour area is smaller than 35 mL in volume
- The returning tumour(s) are more than 10 mm away from your optic nerves, the point where the optic nerves cross (chiasma), and the brain stem
Who may not be able to join:
- You are unable to have an MRI scan or a PET scan for any medical reason
- You have a widespread form of glioblastoma affecting a large area of the brain (glioblastomatose)
- You are pregnant or currently breastfeeding
- You do not understand French
- You are not enrolled in the French national or local social security system
- You are unable to attend and follow the trial's required appointments and assessments due to where you live, your social situation, or psychological reasons
- You are under 18 years old, or are under legal guardianship or supervision
- You are currently deprived of your liberty (for example, in custody)
- You are under judicial protection (a legal status in France) (confirm with trial site)
- You are not able to give your own informed consent to take part
