  • Adults aged 18 or older who have end-stage kidney disease and have chosen hemodialysis as their kidney treatment method

  • People where the surgeon and patient together have decided that a forearm access point is the best option, in order to keep other sites available for future use
  • People who are currently incarcerated
  • People who are currently pregnant or planning to become pregnant within the next 6 months
  • People who have chosen peritoneal dialysis instead of hemodialysis, or who are expected to receive a kidney transplant within 6 months of joining the trial
