Who might be able to join this trial:
Stratum A (currently receiving radiation treatment):
- You are between 1 and 25 years old
- Your tumor is located in or near the brain, including areas such as the nasal cavity, sinuses, or eye socket
- Your treatment plan includes radiation therapy (either proton or photon type)
- You have not yet finished your radiation treatment
Stratum B (finished radiation treatment at least 2 years ago):
- You were diagnosed with a brain tumor before the age of 26
- You received radiation to the brain as part of your treatment
- It has been at least 2 years since you started radiation treatment
- Your tumor has not come back since your most recent radiation treatment
Stratum C (imaging study group):
- You are between 5 and 25 years old
- You are able to complete research brain scans without needing sedation (sleep-inducing medication)
Who may not be able to join:
Stratum A:
- You are pregnant
- You are unable to complete thinking and memory tests, including if English is not understood, or if you have a pre-existing condition affecting brain development such as Down's syndrome or autism
Stratum B:
- You are unable to complete thinking and memory tests, including if English is not understood, or if you have a pre-existing condition affecting brain development such as Down's syndrome or autism
Stratum C:
- You have a significant psychiatric, neurological, or other major medical diagnosis (confirm with trial site)
