Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People who have been informed of the results of their initial medical assessment
- People who are covered by a social health insurance plan (either as the main member or as a family member of a main member)
- People who have been diagnosed with one or more chronic psychiatric conditions — such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, recurrent major depression, or borderline personality disorder — or a neurodevelopmental condition such as autism spectrum disorder, and who receive care as an outpatient or in a day hospital
- People whose condition is rated as not severely acute by their psychiatrist, using a standard clinical scale (CGI-Severity score below 6)
- People whose responses to a self-stigma questionnaire show a moderate to high level of self-stigma (ISMI score above 2.5)
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are currently in an exclusion period due to a previous or ongoing research study
- People who are already taking part in an interventional study that involves psychotherapy or an experimental medication
- People who are currently experiencing an acute episode of their condition, as assessed by their psychiatrist using a standard clinical scale
- People who are in a medical emergency or a life-threatening situation
- People who have an intellectual disability, defined as an IQ below 70, as estimated through a specific cognitive assessment tool
- People who are receiving psychiatric care under legal constraint, or whose freedom is restricted due to a court order
- People who do not have a sufficient ability to speak and read French
