- Women aged 50–64 who have tested positive for HPV through a screening program
- Women aged 23–64 who are having a follow-up test (HPV and cell sample) six months after a LEEP procedure (a treatment to remove abnormal cells from the cervix) in the Central Denmark Region
- Women aged 23–64 who are having a follow-up test (HPV and cell sample) 12 months after a LEEP procedure

- People who are recorded in the registry as having previously declined to take part in research
- Women whose cell sample and HPV test results from six months after their LEEP procedure were not usable or were incomplete
