Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are 18 years old or older at the time of giving consent.
  • You have been diagnosed with thyroid cancer that no longer responds to radioactive iodine treatment, or is unlikely to respond to it.
  • You are scheduled to receive "redifferentiation" drugs (medicines that may help thyroid cancer cells respond to radioactive iodine again) before a planned radioactive iodine scan or treatment, as part of your regular medical care.
  • You have never received redifferentiation drugs before outside of a clinical trial, or you received them in a previous clinical trial, but your medical team has now decided to use them as part of your routine care before a radioactive iodine scan or treatment.
  • You have previously received redifferentiation drugs as part of your regular care before a radioactive iodine scan or treatment, are willing to share information collected from that time, and are also willing to provide new information going forward from the point of joining this trial.

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have thyroid cancer that does not respond to radioactive iodine, and you are receiving redifferentiation drugs before a radioactive iodine scan or treatment as part of a different clinical trial (rather than as routine medical care).
