  • Children who are taking psychiatric medication where the dose has not been stable for at least 4 weeks (or at least 2 weeks for stimulant or benzodiazepine medications)
  • Children who are currently receiving another form of trauma-focused treatment
  • Cases where the caregiver who caused the traumatic event is the one leading the treatment, or still lives in the same household as the child during the treatment period
  • Caregivers who have had a substance use disorder in the past 3 months, where there are concerns about suicidal thoughts, or who do not have sufficient Norwegian language skills to complete the workbook and treatment without an interpreter
